The Beginning

My name is Ashley and I live in Colorado. I recently graduated college in order to become a teacher. For me, reading is a passion and my ultimate past time. I love delving into a good read and allowing myself to be swept into the story.

I have been married to my amazing husband for over 2 years. I always get a kick out of people's reactions when I tell them I am 23 years old and my husband is 33. We both went to the same high school, just several years apart. We met about 5 years ago when we both were coaching high school sports for said high school. Small world! We have one cat and two dogs that we love to death! No children yet, but we're working on it. I am a die hard Harry Potter and Twilight fan! These are books I could reread over and over again!

My main purpose for starting this blog is to connect with fellow avid readers and to share my reviews. When I am unsure about a book, I look to the reviews-both positive and negative. Doing so helps me decide on whether the book is something I might enjoy. Because of this, I want to share my view on books in order to help others decide on books to read-perhaps even inspire them to try a new or different book or genre. My reading is comprised of some children, young adult, and adult books in various genres-fantasy, some science fiction, cozy reads, some nonfiction, mystery, and thriller. Hope you enjoy!
